Definition: Indicative Plan
Indicative Plan - "a plan in a mixed or capitalist
economy, which states expectations,
aspirations, and intentions, but falls short
of authorization. This type of plan may
include economic forecasts, helping private
decision makers, policies favorable to the
private sector, how to raise money and
recruit personnel, and a list of proposed
public expenditures usually authorized by
the annual budget." - source: Economic Development 4th Edition by E. Wayne Nafziger
